Street Light Installation Project
The Sadipura Social Welfare Association (SSWA) is a community-driven, non-political organisation dedicated to the welfare, development, and safety of the people of Sadipura village. Since its establishment, the association has been actively involved in social development, educational support, healthcare programs, and community awareness activities.
সাদিপুরা সমাজকল্যাণ সমিতি (SSWA) একটি সমাজভিত্তিক, অরাজনৈতিক সংগঠন যা সাদিপুরা গ্রামের জনগণের কল্যাণ, উন্নয়ন ও নিরাপত্তার জন্য নিবেদিত। প্রতিষ্ঠার পর থেকে এই সমিতি সামাজিক উন্নয়ন, শিক্ষাগত সহায়তা, স্বাস্থ্যসেবা কার্যক্রম এবং জনসচেতনতা কার্যক্রমে সক্রিয়ভাবে কাজ করছে।
As part of its continuous efforts to improve the quality of life in Sadipura, the association is proposing a Street Light Installation Project across key roads, school surroundings, and public spaces. This initiative will not only improve safety and security but also help strengthen the association’s visibility and public engagement within the community.
সাদিপুরার মানুষের জীবনমান উন্নত করার ধারাবাহিক প্রচেষ্টার অংশ হিসেবে সমিতি একটি স্ট্রিট লাইট স্থাপন প্রকল্প গ্রহণ করেছে। এই প্রকল্পের মাধ্যমে গ্রামের প্রধান সড়ক, বিদ্যালয় সংলগ্ন রাস্তা এবং জনসমাগম স্থানে সৌরচালিত রাস্তার আলো স্থাপন করা হবে। এটি শুধু নিরাপত্তা ও সুরক্ষা নিশ্চিত করবে না, বরং সমিতির উপস্থিতি ও জনগণের অংশগ্রহণ আরও দৃঢ় করবে।
Objectives of the Street Light Installation Project
- Ensure Public Safety
The primary goal is to enhance nighttime safety for all villagers, especially students, women, and elderly residents who often walk or travel after dusk. Proper street lighting will reduce the risk of accidents, harassment, and other dangers in dark areas.
মূল উদ্দেশ্য হলো রাতের সময় সকল গ্রামবাসীর নিরাপত্তা নিশ্চিত করা—বিশেষ করে শিক্ষার্থী, নারী ও বয়স্কদের জন্য, যারা প্রায়ই সন্ধ্যার পর চলাফেরা করেন। যথাযথ রাস্তার আলো দুর্ঘটনা, হয়রানি ও অন্ধকারে ঘটে যাওয়া বিপদের ঝুঁকি কমাবে।
- Prevent Theft and Unlawful Activities
Darkness provides an opportunity for thieves and antisocial individuals to engage in harmful activities. Installing bright, solar-powered street lights will act as a deterrent, reducing incidents of theft, property damage, and other criminal acts.
অন্ধকার চোর ও অসামাজিক ব্যক্তিদের অপরাধমূলক কর্মকাণ্ডে সুযোগ দেয়। উজ্জ্বল সৌরচালিত রাস্তার আলো স্থাপন এই ধরনের কার্যক্রম প্রতিরোধ করবে এবং চুরি, সম্পদ ক্ষতি ও অপরাধের হার কমাবে।

Improved lighting encourages community gatherings, evening markets, and safe transportation after sunset. It will create a more vibrant and active environment, promoting unity and pride among villagers.
উন্নত আলোকসজ্জা গ্রামে সামাজিক অনুষ্ঠান, সন্ধ্যার বাজার ও নিরাপদ যানবাহন চলাচলকে উৎসাহিত করবে। এটি গ্রামের পরিবেশকে আরও প্রাণবন্ত করে তুলবে এবং ঐক্য ও গর্বের অনুভূতি সৃষ্টি করবে।
- Increase Public Awareness of the Association
Each installed street light will carry a small signboard or sticker bearing the name and logo of the Sadipura Social Welfare Association. This visible presence throughout the village will serve as physical publicity—enhancing recognition and appreciation of the association’s work.
